Silicon Dioxide

Silicon dioxide is indicated for use in dentistry products, animal oral health products, human and animal drug products and in cosmetics as an anticaking agent (1, 2, 3). The food additive silicon dioxide may be safely used in food, as a component of articles intended for use in packaging, transporting, or holding food, and animal feed in accordance with specified conditions (4).
